Vera & Vera’s lead paralegal Carmen D. Jimenez has been working for Vera & Vera since its early days. She has worked alongside the attorneys to successfully represent clients with immigration cases, criminal defense, and auto accidents. 

Born in Sylmar, California, Carmen D. Jimenez is the daughter of Mexican-American parents originally from Michoacán, Mexico. She moved to Sacramento, California to complete her formal education at California State University, Sacramento. After earning her degree in Sociology from the California State University in December 2010, she decided to pursue law and is currently in her third year at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, California. 

She is dedicated to providing exceptional service at Vera & Vera and works full time as a paralegal while also attending Lincoln Law School full time. While at the office, she enjoys an occasional cappuccino at the end of a busy day and loves travelling and attending concerts on her free time. Her hobbies include hiking and taking her dog Bentley for a stroll along the American River Trail.
